16th August '08
Parwin's 21st Birthday Party

The evening started at Woodsvale Condo (shown below), belonging to Parwin's uncle, apparently.

With anticipation, we made our way through the security, to the Function Room. It was nicely decorated, as you can see:

* THE STORY OF PINKY *

(As told by Seettha)

"A long long time ago, long before Pinky was borned, Pinky's elder brother told his parents that he wanted his next younger sibling to be called Pinky (regardless of the gender turnout). In a twinkling of an eye, things happened and Pinky was borne. True to their promise to their little boy, Pinky was known as 'Pinky' to all in the family, though she wasn't named so literally."

- A beautiful tale, a stunning young lady.

DJ's corner - mixture of music for the night. Oh, we all danced too!

Some of us were a little starved (and shy to show out), but just in time, Parwin's dad declared..... time to dig in!! Muahaha.... However, conscious of our image, the ladies start off with little:

Unlike Chin and JJ, who were famished.... Heh. Oh, JJ claimed that he was NOT going to eat alot though! Right, JJ? ;p

o_O??

A short while later, it was time for the cake-cutting ceremony!! FWAH....

A pink-looking cake for Pinky!

"Happy Birthday to you... Happy birthday to you...

Happy Birthday to PINKY... Happy birthday to YOU!!!"

Awww.... So sweet... Granny sweetest. =)

Pinky and her classmates - spot Seetha!

And since this is the blog of Project SabaiSabai, how I can forget to include the YEP gang? Tsk tsk... Okay, not the whole gang, but all who were there, lest for Beng, who came at the eleventh hour. Boo. No pictures of you Beng, sorry! There you go, POOF!!

It was a little chaotic, with all the different cameras flashing in all directions. =) Hence, this is the nicest looking group pic of all. =)

Bet you must be dying to know what we got for her, no? There you go:

Pinky grew up to WOW the world...

Up next, dance by the cousins:

These 2 imps can dance really well! Entertaining and ooh-so-cute!! Credit to the older cousins too, of course! =D

Oh yes, I was so intrigued by this right smack in the centre of our table. Was bewildered by the fact that the wax was totally clear and watery and does not harden at all, even the sides. I thought the sides are somewhat cooler? Hmmm.... Kudos to Su Jeng, who kindly explained to me the physics behind it. Ha!

We danced to Indian music! Cool! Heh.

Err.... Don't ask me. I have absolutely no clue. =p

"Under the moonlight, a romantic stroll by the poolside....." Hur.

Under the warm lighting, what's there not to do? ;p

Coming to the end of the entry...... NOT! Shown below, we have Yanting & Chin (representatives from our table) participating in games! Go GO GO!!!

"Were YOU there with us last Saturday??"

=)
