Parwin's 21st Birthday Party

The evening started at Woodsvale Condo (shown below), belonging to Parwin's uncle, apparently.

With anticipation, we made our way through the security, to the Function Room. It was nicely decorated, as you can see:

* THE STORY OF PINKY *

(As told by Seettha)

"A long long time ago, long before Pinky was borned, Pinky's elder brother told his parents that he wanted his next younger sibling to be called Pinky (regardless of the gender turnout). In a twinkling of an eye, things happened and Pinky was borne. True to their promise to their little boy, Pinky was known as 'Pinky' to all in the family, though she wasn't named so literally."

Some of us were a little starved (and shy to show out), but just in time, Parwin's dad declared..... time to dig in!! Muahaha.... However, conscious of our image, the ladies start off with little:

A short while later, it was time for the cake-cutting ceremony!! FWAH....

And since this is the blog of Project SabaiSabai, how I can forget to include the YEP gang? Tsk tsk... Okay, not the whole gang, but all who were there, lest for Beng, who came at the eleventh hour. Boo. No pictures of you Beng, sorry! There you go, POOF!!

It was a little chaotic, with all the different cameras flashing in all directions. =) Hence, this is the nicest looking group pic of all. =)

Oh yes, I was so intrigued by this right smack in the centre of our table. Was bewildered by the fact that the wax was totally clear and watery and does not harden at all, even the sides. I thought the sides are somewhat cooler? Hmmm.... Kudos to Su Jeng, who kindly explained to me the physics behind it. Ha!

We danced to Indian music! Cool! Heh.

Err.... Don't ask me. I have absolutely no clue. =p

Reminisce

Hi guys, was showing my maid the Chiang mai photos cause she can understand HAHA. As in relate to it lah! Cause got mountains and all. But she's not Thai. Anyway! I miss Thailand a lot hence this entry. And you're suppose to hear the music and read the post - for added effect. Afterall, it was this song that kept playing endlessly on the computer that zaps us. heh!

:) She said Ms cher and Mr moses looks damn young. ahem. hahahaha! :D

Also, I showed her the pigs photo right! And she said it was a norm, for her son's wedding, they slaughtered FIVE PIGS. Whalao, hardcore eh.

I remember getting to know Seetha well at this juncture, since we made stupid jokes for ourselves to laugh at. Midway, she took a motorbike up! WL!! The look on her face when she reached the other mountain was damn classic lah! She waved to us somemore right. HAHA!

Lastly, the people who made all of this happen! Mr Moses, Ms Cher, Ms Neo, YANTING! Kudos to you guys! :) I'm sure amazing race was amazing and the students are happy with their prizes!

What have you learnt through out this entire Sabai trip? I have, learnt that team work and communication plays a huge role in everything. Everyone replied emails so things got done pretty efficiently. Everyone came together to help each other out. SEE! We all played a part in this whole thing! *claps for all of us.*

From the washing of clothes in ChiangMai, to each local project, anyway! This whole sabai thing is special special! Like what Oreo said, let us not be hi-bye friends and more then that! Cause after all, whatever we experienced is something not everyone gets to experience! So let us treasure it and keep this friendship alive. :))))))

This may be the end of the entire sabai thing, but it's not THE end. :) See you guys soon! I PROMISE to update about Chiang Mai soon! Uploading photos on blogger is quite a painnnnnn! ;D
